In 1947, George Nelson designed the first Herman Miller® Bubble Lamp collection which was manufactured by Herman Miller until 1979 when the collection went out of production.  In 1998, production of this iconic series was reinstated.  The Herman Miller® Bubble Lamp® collection is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The lamp fixture comes with a 5.25-inch brushed, nickel-plated steel ceiling plate for mounting. Distance between metal rods and walnut ball is 14.5”. BUBBLE LAMPS AND CORD ARE SOLD SEPARATELY. Fixture is photographed with three small Saucer Lamps which are sold separately

It is recommended that Bubble Lamp pendants for the Triple Bubble should not exceed 19" in diameter.
