South End Residence

Attica staged a small bungalow completely redesigned by architect Peter Braithwaite, transforming a dated home in a traditional neighbourhood into a striking contemporary residence. Most of the furniture and artwork reflected the home’s original midcentury character, creating a thoughtful link between past and present. In the bright main living and kitchen space—defined by white walls, cabinetry, and a central fireplace—warm metals and wood tones added depth and contrast. Bold, expressive artwork by Christopher Joyce introduced warmth and energy, complemented by a birch-patterned rug and custom coffee table from the same artist.
