Normal Delivery Times (Canada)
We do not keep inventory on all items. With the exception of showroom stock, all items have specific manufacturer lead times that can range anywhere from 1-16 weeks (even longer in some exceptional cases). Because these lead times change on a regular basis, please contact us for specific lead times. Lead times are estimates only. Manufacturers may indicate longer than stated lead times after orders are placed, subject to demand and availability.
Free Instore/Offsite-Warehouse Pickup
For items purchased off of our floor, you have the option of picking them up yourself for free. Please ensure to bring an appropriately sized vehicle, a helper, and your own moving blankets.
Furniture items that have been special ordered can be picked up at our off-site Halifax warehouse lockers. Appointments are required for these pick-ups. Again, please measure the size available in your vehicle prior to arrival to ensure that the pieces will fit, and bring a helper with you.
Furniture Delivery (Metropolitan Halifax within a 40 km radius)
For furniture deliveries in the Metropolitan Halifax area the delivery fee is $119 for up to three pieces of furniture (the exception to this is Gus Design pieces purchased online are billed a shipping charge of 8% of the total price). Furniture set-up fees are billed out at $100/hour.
Furniture Delivery (within a 40 – 80 km radius of Attica Hlaifax)
For areas 40 to 80 km outside of Halifax we charge 15% of the purchase price (the exception to this is Gus Design pieces purchased online are billed a shipping charge of 8% of the total price). Please note: requesting a specific date for delivery may greatly affect this shipping rate.
Furniture Delivery (outside of 80 km radius of Attica Halifax)
Please contact us for a freight quote. Our goal is to always ensure that your furniture arrives to you safely, and is delivered by a company that takes responsibility, so that you are not left with damaged items.
Standard Delivery Service
Freight shipments are brought to the curbside only and do not include assembly, installation or delivery inside a residence or office. Some delivery companies may charge more if there are extraordinary shipping/delivery circumstances. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
With freight shipments, you are also required to inspect the packaging and items immediately upon receipt and indicate on the packaging and/or paperwork if there is visible damage. You may choose to refuse delivery of the item(s) only if the damage appears severe. Please note that freight carriers will deny any damage claims if it is not noted on the delivery waybill at the time of delivery, before the carrier leaves.
Please note that for items that include free shipping, customers will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs on Freight Delivery returns that are not damaged or incorrect.
