Since 1989, when the Tolomeo Table Lamp was given the Compasso d'Oro award for Italian industrial design, its designers further refined their technique in a complete series of models for table, floor, wall, track and suspension application. The Tolomeo Classic Floor Lamp by Artemide carries on the company's quest for unity of quality engineering and tasteful modern design. This table lamp is composed of a fully adjustable articulated arm made of polished aluminum, as well as a body with die-cast aluminum joints and tension control knobs. The 6" D diffuser in stamped, anodized matte aluminum can be tilted and rotated up to 360 degrees on the lamp holder. An on/off switch is incorporated.
